So I’m making Salad Fingers sequels now. Fanmade. Apparently that’s a thing.
People keep asking me what it all means. I’m just the creator of something that’s a poor attempt to imitate a brilliant animation who‘s original creator stated that „it is weirdness that doesn‘t need to be explained. It’s a joke....it doesn’t need a coherent narrative.“
If David Firth doesn’t get what it means I don’t think anyone ever will. So those of you who watch my fanmade sequels and ask me what it all means and tell me that you don’t understand it...you actually understood it. Because there’s nothing to understand.

There can be brilliance even in mere imitation. Maybe someday they'll surpass the originals. ;)
Also: intriguing! Didn't know this was a thing.

Thank you very much for such a kind comment, I really appreciate that! My SF animations are merely intended as a tribute and I don’t think they should or could ever surpass David Firth‘s work. But I’m working on something original currently :)
